What is <cite> Tag in HTML?
The HTML <cite> element is used when we want to cite a creative work in HTML. For example, you have a famous picture and you want to mention the name of the picture in an article; this is where you can use the <cite> element.
Note: the name of a famous person is not considered as a value of this element!
Also, browsers usually render the value within <cite> element in italic.

The value of HTML <cite> element is any reference to a creative work.
For example:
- The name of a book
- A Poem
- An Essay
- A game
- Sculpture
- The name of a painting
